Summer School

We are pleased to announce that Summer School will be going ahead this year at FSC Preston Montford between the 13th and 19th of August.
 

The cost of Summer School this year will be £335 plus £30 for the coach, but as always there is financial help available if needed. If this is the case, please try to return your form sooner rather than later as it can take some time to organise.

Summer School is for young people who are aged between 11 and 17 and 10 year olds who will either be 11 before 1 st September 2023 or who have older siblings going too. Most young people have some Quaker family connection or are friends with Quakers. As long as you want to be part of a ‘Quaker Community’ then you’re welcome to come. If you have a friend who would like to come with you but is not a Quaker, they are also very welcome.

Anti-Racism Work amongst British Friends

Exploring the findings and implications for us of the work of Kate McNally, Eva Koch Scholar 2022, who studied what British Friends are doing to further the concern to make British Friends are anti-racism body.  Her report is attached.

The session will be held on Zoom and the Zoom session should open at 1915.
