All-age Christmas Worship will take place on Sunday, 17th September.  The theme will be – ‘Bayard Rustin’

Remembrance Sunday 2023

Arrangements for Remembrance Sunday, 12th November: 

Ann Lewis is making us a poppy wreath to take down to the Remembrance ceremony at the War memorial in Disley on Sunday 12th November.

Anne & Dave Sumner will represent Disley meeting at the Remembrance ceremony.

Disley have reinstated their Friday evening Meetings for Worship on Zoom (3rd Friday of the month).  Clare Finnis has kindly offered to host them and they will begin again on Friday 17th November at 7.30pm.

Disley Meeting House Venue Hire

Hire meeting rooms at the Disley Quaker meeting house, a beautiful Grade II listed building with stunning gardens. Situated in the heart of Disley, it's perfect for community activities and family gatherings. With flexible options and affordable pricing, the meeting house can host regularly scheduled group meetings as well as special events.

 

Facilities include:

• One large meeting room 51m² - capacity approx 40 inc. A/V equipment and piano, accessible via a stairlift and fitted with an induction loop

 

• One small meeting room 18m² - capacity approx 15

 

• Fully equipped kitchen

 

• 2 WC inc. 1 disabled toilet

• Outdoor patio seating

 

Pricing:

Large meeting room: £10 per hour

Small meeting room: £6 per hour

Entire venue: £80 daily
